Walworth

Picture perfect living

Welcome to Walworth

Situated within the borough of Southwark, to the South of Elephant & Castle and the North of Camberwell Green, the district of Walworth fills a considerable share of the SE17 postcode area. Walworth is the home to Old Kent Road, recognised for being one of the cheapest streets in the board game Monopoly, and the only South London street on the board. And it doesn’t stop there, as Walworth was the actual birthplace of Charlie Chaplin and Michael Caine as well. Linking perfectly Elephant & Castle and Camberwell, Walworth Road runs down the spine of the whole neighbourhood. Just off Walworth Road is the buzzing East Street, which is the cultural heart of Walworth and home to a busy weekly market. The market has an eclectic and exciting mix of stalls and traders.
