Home to the 2012 London Olympic Games the up and coming area is filled with new renovations and remains as a footprint of the 21st-century development it became. Five years later, and the area is still as busy and happening every day of the year. With Westfield shopping centre on its doorstep, The Olympic Village, and a slew of Theatres and picture-houses, there is an endless list of entertainment for nearby residents. The popularity will only grow, with an estimated population of 40,000 residents by 2020 as a stern result of new homes being built in and around the (now retitled) Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.
